Thanks Bri! I didnt like it too much the first time I used it, but this time I felt better in it and got better pop off the floor. I cranked the straps down this time which I didnt do the first time. Depending on how the Leviathan goes(if I have enough time with it), Im not sure which ill use this meet.

On a side note, Retro only goes to 100lb dumbbells and unless Tim or I are there, they NEVER get used.

Frustrating, mate. You have been waiting an age. One of our guys got his leviathan on Wednesday. HOLY FU*K!! That is one aggressive piece of kit. I did not realise just how thick and rigid they were. I hope yours does arrive sooner than later and you do get the chance to use it.Gladiators instead of Inzer. I doubt ill get it broken in for this meet,which sucks because my Boss is pretty beat.
By the way, my benching was awful on Wednesday night and I still havent brought myself to post it. Took 528 to the chest x3 but didnt touch once...pissed off. I bow to your superior strength and benching prowessYou look like you have so much more too. Awesome.

Haha no bowing yet. I need to hit 600 off the chest before i consider myself a "strong" bencher. Your going to get your bench in order and touching real soon. Have you touched at all yet with the metal? (i forget). Get some good angles of your elbows again and im sure Tone can get you touching.
It really sucks about the canvas. I really need it i think to hit my numbers this meet. We are hitting 1 rm tomm, so this will determine where im at.

Very disappointing day. We were scheduled for 100% on this cycle(800). I had doubts in my head which killed it from the get go. I wasnt sitting back enough at all and the last set my arch was shit and my shoulders were forward. I got stapled forward on the way down which hasnt happened in a long time. Moreso form than strength issues. But enough to fuck with my head. I had a heavy pull day on Wednesday, so from now until the meet, all heavy work will be on Saturdays.

If I doubt me getting a lift, I take a step out of the gym to get shit right in my head instead of letting that loom around and kill my mental preperation. We have a saying that we don't let ourselves get psychologically annihilated before making the lift. Still good work getting in a getting work done.

Thanks guys. Just blowing steam. I wont let it affect me. Shit happens. Just a day where everyrhing was off. I knew what was wrong form wise, just couldnt adjust under the bar. Ill get it back right. Just disappointing since thus was the day to be ready.

Hard to hit big numbers when your head isn't all there... Tough luck but learn from it an keep the head up. Still hit some good strong numbers on an off day. Smart move with moving all heavy work to one day mate, will help for sure

This past week, I was invited to attend the next World Police and Fire games which are held every 2 years. They will be in August 2013 in Belfast Ireland which will be pretty bad ass. Its a raw meet, but I didnt know much about it, so after a little research, its not a full meet, but either a raw Push/Pull or BP only. Not happy with that, but it still would be a great experience and trip. So 2 years to train for it. I should be able to be ready![]()
