Today was a good learning day since I still have form issues with sumo. It wasnt about bar weight, just form. Evan is a strong sumo puller (775-800) and really knows the sumo. He had me bring my stance in a bit and point my toes out more and it really helped my lockout, which was my problem. I need more practice straps up, but once I get used to it, shit is going to take off.

Interesting session. I wasnt able to get down to the box at all until the 505 sets. I forced myself down causing me to drop on the box and getting loose. So I decided to get rid of the box and drop the weight a little. 465 was easy. Session was a little long with 11 lifters today, so no time for anything else.

One thing I learned was to not force myself down to a box, but to add weight if possible. I know it sounds crazy, but it worked for me, lol. Nice session!!!

I know what tight briefs feel like and they suck, lol. I remember my first time doing circa max, I had 465lbs of bar weight and approx. 250-300lbs of band tension with my boss briefs on and I didn't sit on the box on any of my sets, lol.
