XM Channels You Listen To ...

There's been a few threads about XM radios and the Sirius Merger, but I didn't see anything on channels that everyone listens to.

I just put one in my truck, and I love it. Mostly listen to the Outlaw Country, POTUS, American Right, and that trucking channel. I'm still new, so don't know a lot of cool shows on there. What does everyone else who has it listen to?

It's certainly been worth it, I listen to it more than I thought I would.

Blue Collar Radio, Liquid Metal, Rawdog Comedy, ESPN radio, among some others. Certainly makes the hours go faster with all the driving I do.

I have 18 presets on my car XM, and I never sit on one channel for more than one song. I am a surf-a-holic - especially when it's a crap fest on every channel.

But I do like Octane, Hairnation (only when my wife is in the car with me though), Classic Rewind, Boneyard, and Outlaw Country.

I have Sirius and I think im getting rid of it again.

I drive a half about 20 min one way to school and then 20 min back and some days I can surf the channels the whole 20 min and come across maybe 2-3 songs I actually want to listen to. Right now the only stations I listen to are Sirius hits 1, channel 9 the pulse, classic rewind, octane, boneyard, hair national, alternative rock and like one or two more. Comedy channels are so hit or miss, some are so funny but then you'll hear 3-5 lame ones right in a row. Playboy channel is interesting to listen to, some of their radio shows are pretty good.

I just don't think its worth it anymore, before the merger it was a lot better ( I should say before the mixed the channels). It's almost 10$ a month now....

I'm selling my car kit and putting that towards a CD player for my car. Better investment IMO.

Ethel (47), Lucy (54) and Top Tracks (46). They get the heavy load of my listening. Of course their new names are Alt Nation, Lithium and Classic Vinyl, respectively. Needless to say, I prefer the old names along with the old station identifications. The XM/Sirius merge has just imported lame DJs and deported (deleted) funny stuff in between songs that I actually enjoyed. I should also note that 100% of my listening is in my car.
