Taking it to the next level - a guide to Intermediate Bodybuilding by Ron Harris
You’ve learned all the basics and gone from a raw novice who was essentially clueless to someone who had a good idea of what’s going on.
You should have learned the form on all the basic exercises, be in touch with all your muscle groups and have a firm grasp of the basic principles of nutrition. And, it goes without saying you should be bigger and stronger than you were when you started.
Are you ready to take it to the next level?

Thanks for the new routine will give this one a try too.
Curious why most exercises just 3 sets ? I thought that wasn't enough need like 4 to 5 sets ? Or would that be too much volume and lead to over training ? Or maybe on the 3 set exercises add a 4th dropped set ?
Thank you

For the beginner routine, what should be the load percentages roughly? 70% of max, 80% of max?
Edit: Also, in terms of hypertrophy, would you recommend this routine or WBB 1.1?

I've been lifting for a consistent 18 months now and I've made my primary satisfactory gains. Now I'm finding it harder to make gains, naturally. I was wondering how often should I use the various intensity techniques defined at the end of the article. I plan on using the provided intermediate workout, but when and where can I pepper in the intensity techniques? Any help and feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks
