Hey Vin! Long time no speak man. Thanks for stopping in. Hope everything is going well for you bro. Hopefully we can run into each other again soon. Maybe I'll try to come up for one of your upcoming training jigs.

Hop, yeah I absolutely love the program just had to leave it go for a bit. Really have hard time trying to figure out how to work gear around it. This is going to be an experiment. I don't know how long it will take to over train. I'm hoping I can do both for awhile. Especially on the deadlift.

Been quite awhile since I logged. Things were just not progressing and I was very close to quitting. I've been doing alot of thinking and I went back page by page through my log here and the very first one I kept over at Fortified Iron. First, let me say thank you all for all your support. I guess being in here everyday you don't kind of get jaded to just how much support and encouragement you get from others here. I think I took alot of that for granted for awhile. I'm honored that you guys come in, read this, ask questions and take advice. I also notice so many of you gave me great advice that I really didn't see at the time. Secondly, I found what and where my problems were. I looked back and was amazed by the amount of work I used to do and by the amount of heavy volume. I am bringing back my 531, heavy shirt benching, heavy boards, raw squatting, heavy geared squatting, and multiple pull days. The difference between what I was doing when I was at my strongest and what I do now is night and day. Made me see that even though sometimes I think I'm pushing, I'm not. It is really funny to watch yourself grow through your own journal and it's also quite frightening to see how far back you've slid as well. So, I'm back. I don't have a meet picked out yet I just want to focus on getting my training back on track and fixing the flaw I have that makes me think I'm working when I'm not. I need to really look and evaluate each workout I have to make sure I'm not slacking. Thanks for following along. I appreciate each one of you who come in here and read this. Sorry about the gayness.

Tone, I'm glad to see you didn't give up. Give it time and I'm sure you'll be back bigger and stronger. Believe it or not but you've actually inspired me in many ways. Never give up Tone!!!!

Thanks Hopper. You've inspired me as well. Seeing the numbers you and Tim were hitting is what got me started thinking. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back. Staying focused one session at a time.

Glad to see you back at with the new old plan, Tone. Quitting would have been the biggest waste of talent.
This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; the being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy - George Bernard Shaw

Strong squats and deads bro and good job on that 340x10 bench. Are you gonna do 5/3/1 for all three lifts?

Thanks all. Hopper, I'll be doing it like this:
    Monday: Geared Bench
Wed & Thurs: (Alternating Raw Squat/Bench/Deadlift week to week. Last week was Dead/Bench so this week will be Squat/Dead, then Bench/Squat, etc)
    Saturday: Geared Squat/Deadlift
