Was supposed to hit some Kroc Rows tonight but the crew is moving squat night to Friday this week and I didn't want to be worn out to squat/pull tomorrow. Saturday we are attending a benefit for one of our members daughters who suffers from Angelman's Syndrome. The entire crew will be either helping, running, or walking. It will be one of my most proudest moments for our crew coming together to help one of our own outside of the gym. The team Tim and I set out to build has become a better reality than our best dream. So proud of our entire crew.

Went alot better than expected. This is week 2 in this new Phenom shirt. Feel on the new Phenom fabric is different. The old fabric gave you a big "pop". This fabic is more like a steady squeeze. Hoping to have video later today.

Look forward to that video. Seem to be getting the hang of the new shirt pretty quickly, nice! Do you think prefer that steady squeeze or the pop? Sounds like quite a different feel

785 was crisp, and you could have easily tripled 725! Impressive.

Should've listened to Tim and given myself some shirt. 805 was easy. I will probably stay in the shirt at least one more week but back it down. I'm looking to go 785/805 both touching this coming week.
Were those videos filmed on a potato??
Regardless, you could've benched that 825 one-handed - very impressive!

Big thanks to Dave (DMS80) for sticking around and training with me. I needed the push today. So glad this guy joined the crew. He's been a great addition to Jersey Iron so far. His first meet is coming soon! December 1st! Make sure you checkout his log!
Thanks Tone. Glad I could help push you, and thank you for pushing me to do some extra training. I'm glad to be a part of Jersey Iron, and hope for big things to come. Good Job yesterday! Get ready for Saturday.

Haven't been posting except for the big days. Right now I'm just doing little things to get ready for the meet in 3 weeks. I've got 2 training weeks left, a deload, then the meet on 11/3.
I am lining up some big things for both myself and the team. By this time next year I want our Jersey Iron crew to be an established name on the East Coast. We've got the personnel to make it happen putting up some big numbers this year and next.
I'm also beginning to take clients on training in the same system we at JI do. I've had 18 people train on our system in the past year all with great results not the least of which is our own Brian Hopper who put 91lbs on his total! That's an established, high-level lifter who put 91lbs on his total. I've got some things to iron out but I'm following along with 531 and Cube to put out a product that works, is easy to follow, but most important, I want my system to be completely understood by those that train on it. I want them to know why they do what they do, how to do it themselves. I don't want return clients after 3 or 4 times through. I want to teach people how to build these things, how to troubleshoot themselves and their programs, and how to build these things for their friends and family. Sure, $ for training templates is great, but $ doesn't leave you a legacy. Helping people, bettering them, and caring are what will be left behind in this sport long after you're gone. If you do those things and can lift a few heavy weights along the way you can't ask for a better memory to leave behind. So here comes Tone, here comes Jersey Iron. 2012-2013.

Easy today. Just got some weight on my back and in my hands and ended it. Next week I hit openers, deload, and meet week.
Squat
Worked up in briefs to 705x2.
Deadlift
Suited up and worked up to 725. Will probably pull in just briefs at the meet. Much more comfortable and faster. Suit is pulling me out of position.
Nice easy day Tone! I like new signature
