I doubt I'd be able to be able to make it a steady thing training with you guys, because I'm mostly a loner when I train, but I have to at least come check it out one of these times since you're right in my hometown. Is it a person's house that you train at in Philly, or is it a gym?

Heading to NY today for the meet. Weight is about 375. Came off a certain supp a week ago because I was gaining way too much weight. Feeling really good. Trying to gather enough focus to do SOMETHING at work this morning. I'm actually just looking forward to the crab fries they're bringing in at 11:30. I think I'm jetting right after that.
Best of luck this weekend Tone!
375...mercy!!

10.17.09 Deadlift Meet
Travelled up 4 1/2 hours to Iron Asylum in Tribes Hill, NY. 4 1/2 hours in a small rental car. Suprisingly enough, my hips weren't that bad. Weighed in at 375. Usually at these meets if I'm not lifting I'm backspotting, handing off, and handling a few people. This time, I had to sit and judge and try to stay relaxed. I don't know how single-lift lifters do it. It was awful trying to sit and wait.
Opener was 700. I had doubled this easy in the gym and felt it was a very safe opener. My plan was to go 700-750-770 and then maybe see how I felt and take a shot at 800.
700
That went so well I decided to skip 750 to try and conserve energy for 800. I went straight to 770. This was the pull I'd need to make it on the gym wall.
770
I was really happy to have had it go that well but should have known I was pretty spent both physically and mentally but I decided to give 800 a try anyway. From what I see it looks pretty strong off the floor but I stall at the knees. Looks like rack pulls are in order.
800
As usually a great meet thanks to Sandi & Zane at Iron Asylum Gym. The SSA is a great place to lift and the people are incredible.
absolutely amazing,,Praise God,,great seeing a great friend hit a big lift,,i miss ya

It was great to be back man. Nothing like getting back under it. The whole crew looked great today. Sammy and Tim had really good days in the shirt, you looked great raw with another rep PR I believe? And Chris really manhandled some decent weight. His pauses were real strong. Good to see with everyone going into a meet in 3 weeks.
Nice pull Tone!!!!!!!
