    565 and 585 bench

Couple vids of this weeks ME workout. First video is 565 off a 2 board with my super katana single ply. Weight felt really easy. Fast forward on the video, don't have an editing program atm.

Second video is a 585 off 2 board. Although it looks like I struggled my right arm started floating up out of groove but I still managed to lockout. This weight felt really good. Still getting the shirt broke in. Next week will work down to a 1 board. I'm shooting for a 600 bench next month.

Nice pressing man! Way to lock that one out even thought it got a little messy.
Don't asker for a light load, but a strong back.

Excellent. Many props for getting geared up and liftig by yourself. Now that's hungry. Take your vid a bit from the side if possible so we can see your torso also. This way we can help critique any flaws.

Wow, you need someone to hand off for you (duh). You lose part of your arch and tightness with you lift the bar out of the rack. Plenty more left.

Have you tried doubling up a mini band around your belly to hold the board in place-works really well.

Update - Yesterday I smoked a 585 even easier than last week's 565. Clean, smooth lockout. Barely missed 605 though. I went to the gym so I would have some spotters. But one guy had a bum neck and they handed off from each side of the bar so I had to hold the bar for what seemed like 10 seconds to get it balanced before I started lowering the bar. I got the bar at about 1" from lockout, but I was pooped from getting the bar back into balance. If I had a better handoff I would have gotten the 605. Still can't get the shirt to touch yet. Any tips for getting it broke in? Should I do more reps in the shirt?

man with some simple setup work 605 or even MORE would go! I applaud you doing all that by yourself! DAMN! GREAT WORK!

use that cage right though...just incase.. especially when working by yourself. Safety first!
