I searched for other threads and couldn't find anything related to this question so...sorry if it seems like a stupid question, i'm still young, got a lot to learn
is it alright if i train my legs today?
yesterday i had my first proper workout in like a year and it was pretty intense...my chest is pretty sore and the rest of my upper body is stiff...
so is it ok to train my legs today even if my upper body is sore? or should i wait until thursday to do my legs.
Thats one of the perks of split routines. Work one section while the other recovers. And to mirror the previous poster, do a little whole body warmup and you will shake out some of the stiffness in your upper body and you'll hardly notice it while working your lower.
I do suggest taking it a little easy on the first new workouts so you dont cripple yourself. You're not doing yourself any favors by risking injury out of the gate. This is speaking from experience, I do stupid shi...stuff so other people dont have to.
Exactly, you'll be fine. Do some stretching and then get to it.
