Pinching shoulder blades together in a tight shirt.

Anyone have any tips, in a tight shirt I find it hard to retract the shoulders fully and get a good arch.

I guess you just keep working on it but some pointers would be great!

    Thanks everyone!

Watch how metal militia sets up. It's money in terms of how they do it. It's awkward to explain.

I was having alot of trouble pinching my shoulder blades together with a closed back shirt. Does your fed allow open back? If they do, just cut it up the back and hopefully you can get a better arch/stay tigher

It is only in a tight shirt, rear shoulders and traps are still the only parts touching the bench other than glutes it's just the sleeves and chest plate make it very hard to pull the shoulders back as much as I can raw or in a loose shirt.

It may just be that the chest plate is too tight.....I know you said you got a new shirt....Im sure it will break in in a few sessions and you'll be able to retract them better

Yeah I think your right, plenty of time in the shirt and I should be right.

Will let you know how the shirt goes!
