The filed gripper helped me big time from one fucking session........file some grippers and watch your grippers move up.
The 2.5 felt fine on my left hand and only couple days ago I really had to strain my ass off.
If you file 5mm off it will move that gripper up about 0.5 ie 1.5 to 2 and 2 up to 2.5.

Grip work.
Set some pinch grip PRs....
I now have 2 CoC #3s and have closed both.
I got 5mm from closing the 3 left hand for a PR.
Closed the filed down (harder) #1.5 for 2 reps using pinky, ring and middle fingers PR both hands.
2.5 3 x 3 left for a volume PR.
Filed 1.5 x 8 full rom left PR.
Trainer x 3 with pinky and ring fingers both hands PR.
And some other stuff as well, taking a new approach which should see the 3 become easier and easier in time......pretty much need to build the small fingers up to help that last 2mm of gripper work. Pinch work is helping the full movement.

Working the grippers.........Can almost close the 2.5 with pinky ring and middle.
Lost heaps of skin a couple days ago so I can only do inverted work on my right hand plus work pinky and ring......should pay off.
