Haulin steel.............most weight ever in my hands.

    Weighted abs-
    8

7.5" blocks against 200+45 bands (greens and minis doubled) hard work setting up this shit and keeping DBs in place-
    135 x 2
    135 + bands x 1
    225 + bands x 1
    315 + bands x 1
    405 + bands x 1
    Add suit
    455 + bands x 1
    495 + bands x 1
    545 + bands x 1 PR
    585 + bands x 1 50lb PR nice and fast VIDEO 830 baby!

    Conventional raw 4" block pulls-
    315 x 5
    315 x 5

    Side bends-
    24lb bell x 20 per side

Done, this took plenty out of me and I was just so pleased to hit a huge PR off blocks which are my best indicator of pure strength.

This was great but its time to move some real weight like 700+200.........how do you like them apples to the guys you said I was suited to bench and could not pull

    Thank you very much everyone!!!!!

My self belief is very high now, I will not say my plans but they are big!

Your support is a big help as I have said before, I train alone 90% of the time and people in my gym think 400 is big so I have spent time working on the mental side of things and have trained my mind to to truly believe anyone can pull big if you enjoy the challenge.

Bit of extra work, like I said this 4 week cycle is 100% aimed at moving big weights on max effort day and I will back off when I need to on everything else.

    Single arm cable rows-
    60 x 15
    70 x 15
    90 x 15
    100 x 8
    110 x 8
    120 x 8

    Band face pulls-
    Mini x 30

    Band pull-aparts-
    Mini x 30

    Side raises-
    20s x 10 x 4 sets

    Ab swiss ball-
    15
    15
    15
    12

    Nothing much at all today.

BW is 217.5......pretty good weight for me but the goal is 223.

Speed pulls will be conventional for a while for a few reasons but mainly because my hips are sore from all the sumo sets from floor lately.

BTW the next short 3 week cycle will be something along these lines:

Speed lower day- Speed pulls sumo, staight weight, suit on straps fairly tight (to learn gear)

Heavy day- Sumo from floor against bands, suit on straps fairly tight (to strain maximumly the comp lift with-out the stress of the actual comp lift numbers in your head)

Any more than 3 weeks of this will smash the hips too much........block pulls are easier on the hips.
