Haha thanks Hopp. I was amazed myself.. I know it was t&g but still my best before this was 485! I wanted 500 my whole life.
I need to stay healthy and keep doing what's been working! I also know that the new
Foot placement has a lot to do with the big gain. I'm able to stay way more stable and tighter with my feet where they are now!
Need to hit 500 in meet and new t&g goal is 555!

Same here, I want 500 also. I have no idea what I can bench T&G, my best ever is 455 and I benched 450 the week of or before my knee surgery. I'm a lot stronger now, so I might have to test those waters, lol.

Ok here we go again! All I do is complain and get these small fking injuries lately. Trying to stay positive but it's getting hard! Anyway alittle pec strain in the right pec only hurts when I squeeze hard or push hard. So heat and stretching! Was supposed to do 430x3 by 5sets but with Deload coming and the fact I was feeling it alittle more each rep decided to shut it down.
This is a good log to read if everything is great in ur life it will make u appreciate it more. And make u want to shoot me!

Hey Hopp thank you for the positive outlook.
Looking back I have done this to myself! I raised all my %'s for this 3 week wave and still added weight to those sets. I always look to the know and not the ending! I have 1 more hard day scheduled for Saturday then Deload for the next week. I am going to try to stick to plan but we'll see how I feel.
I haven't felt like myself these last few days. Maybe stress from work, money issues or constinently arguing with my son but I need to relax and get out of this funk. I lost 5 lbs this week and trust me it wasn't cause I was trying.
I have 5 weeks left after Saturday to regin my focus and confidence. I need to make a much better effort to train at minimum 3 days a week. I feel I lost a lot of drive and momentum by missing days.
I'm only writing this crap so I can look back and kick my own ass for not learning from the same mistakes over and over.

I did get in and train last night. Nothing worth writing down. Some back stuff and shoulder stuff. Just needed to get in there. Glad I did cause Tone made some very good points about my personality and training cycle. I am a pretty reckless dude when it comes to training and the big picture. I'm older and should be wiser

I've been going to Tone for pointers and advice, lol. He really keeps me positive and focused and I need that since I train by myself....I shouldn't say train by myself, I have 1-2 other friends that train with me, but they don't really get it, lol.

i used straps on these to save my grip.
Overall decent day. my hips felt bad and one of those days where you dont feel comfortable squatting. little tweak in groin today! all I can do is laugh and keep going at this point. deload week! well deload 2 days. i rairly train all week these days.
going to take honest look at program and probably change last 5 weeks of program! going to limp into this meet.

Ok a little update
On June 25th was going to be last heavy heavy night before meet.
For some reason my elbows were out alittle more than normal. Anyway 495 went nice so we decided I would do 1 more to chest and then a couple boards.
So on the way down with 515 something popped in my left pec o shoulder and guys did a good job of not letting it hit me.
I went to my doctor next day and told him from the beginning that surgery wouldn't be an option. He agreed with the amount of rom that I had that they would probably not push a surgery anyway. I iced it very religiously the first 3 days then by 5th day I started mixing in heat and stretching and icing after.
Yesterday I went into gym and was able to do some light db laterals, raises and other things for shoulder. I also tried inc bench w/bar and. I did 6 reps but it felt like I had 225 on the left side and empty on right.
The positive is on night of the injury I thought I would be done forever. I am extremely positive I will be back and hopefully be ready for something by November! I have also lost some weight back down to my usual 262! Yes.
My wife is having carpal tunnel surgery today, so I will be taking care of her next few days or I would try to squat with crew tomorrow. So plan is to be back with the crew next Saturday. So lookout jersey iron cause I'm coming back after
A few weeks off. I miss the guys tremendously and that is one of the reasons y and how I know I will never be done totally.

Damn Tim, I'm sorry to hear that. It's weird that it gave on the way down and not as you were pressing it. I hope everything works out for you bro and you can back to it. I think pec injures scare me the most. I've been having an issue with mine for a few weeks now and it bothers me mentally. I'll be taking next week off completely hoping that it heals up some. Best of luck with your recovery and your wife's surgery!!!

I felt good squatting. All weights felt light and were moving pretty fast. I was going to stick with my program (like I wasn't injuries) but when I ur racked the weight and started down I felt my pec and mostly shoulder on injuries side so I went right back up into rack.
Pulled 3easy sets up to 405+100 in chains and called it. My shoulder was sore.
The pec tear has left my left shoulder weak and unsupported. It's going to take awhile to get that back. Squatting felt good though.
Tonite is bench night not sure what I will or can do but I'm heading in to hang with the guys.
