Squat and dead me
I guess last week took its toll. Felt like hell today. 500 has never felt so heavy in my life.
Took one more with 595 after and decided to shut it down for the day before I hurt myself any further! Need to go back into recliner for awhile sleeping. I will be ready meet day no doubt just a bunch of things pilled up one today.

As far as pec and shoulder go they both feel fine(knock on wood)! No complaints! Right on par I guess with what I figured or wanted a month after injury when I decided to do meet! Said I would live to hit 365 so right there!
My sciatic however is killing me! But I have plenty o time to get it under control enough to have a good meet. Weight has been up and down from 262-270 so need some stability . Thx for asking Hopp

Well 20 weeks after a pec tear I never had repaired and 2 months of back and hip issues meet day finally arose! I was going to do this meet no matter what!
Squat - warmups felt good last warmup was 600 nice and easy
Opener - 665 - felt easy 3 whites
2nd. - 715 - slow down felt hips and lower back on way down - 3whites
3rd. - 730 - threw knee wraps on for this one. Super slow down like I had gear on, back and hip issue tend to make me search for depth and my grove- honestly squat was 1 inch high probably - but I got 2 whites so good.
Now to mental struggle- BENCH
Warmup ups went ok- everything felt light but by now back was so locked up I couldn't get up off the bench myself
Opener-350 - super easy
2nd. -380. Felt ok but as I got closer to lockout I can feel the weight shift towards my good side
3rd. - 410 I went for broke here may have had 400 but without leg drive was too much.
Finished with a 380 - this was a huge mental struggle I have been able to hit 405 for last 20 years so not being able to open there in public was humbling.
Now on to pull-- I did my warmups and was struggling to get down to the bar so decided to token at 315. I had a pt who trains at or gym work in me after warmups(Jim dart) and between attempts tone worked on me with a speed stick.
315 - struggle to get down - weight was a joke - struggle to weight down.
Tone talked to me at this point told me to push on and do one more
625- well got down a little easier and this was easy weight also.
Tone came over right after and asked me well- I need 695 for pr total so of course said screw it 700
700- weight flew to knees and the. Fought to lockout- thank god for quick down command- 3 whites
1810 total- 10 lb meet pr! Shit proud if that today- all the shit I worked through to get there! I'm very happy. Now I can take some down time and heal up. No weight on my back until December at earliest!

as of 11/24/12- with no real sense of direction or rush to get back to a meet I decided to throw briefs on yesterday. Haven't had briefs on since 3/3/12 they were tight as hell.

been having some bad and hip issues. It was sort of a tester to see how i would feel day after, couple days after and week after. I honestly have to say my hips feel alot better today (sunday) as i write this.

1) I learned I can move my grip out to normal in shirt and doesn't hurt.
2) I need to offset grip. Move my strong side in 1 more finger than weak side.
