Strength didn't feel great today, lack of sleep helping my girlfriend pack last minute then driving to the airport early this morning. Since I got up so early I ended up doing some cardio at the gym before work. So, with that said I just went after a solid pump. Going to keep the volume pretty high for everything except the main movements, it is pool season in Vegas after all.
Reall strong ass training Nick. An easy 285 PP is pretty impressive. Nice 12 set on the pulls too.

Kept the volume pretty low last night. Went outside the prescribed numbers but it was my 5-3-1 week and I wanted to take a decent weight for a single. The 495 was really fast, but I don't have the power I had when I was 255-260.
Last week was a deload week. I didn't miss any workouts, but didn't take the time to post anything. I did stray a little on squats , I did:

Holding real steady with the 4pps squats, great numbers on the bench and deads too.

So in my first game of the season I hurt my right foot. I believe it has something to do with the way my ankle was rebuilt when I had surgery on it. I don't know exactly what happened but from what I have read it good be bursitis or a bone bruise on the top of the heel. It happened when I stopped to change direction and planted my foot in the ground. I can walk but I really have to focus on where I am putting pressure on my foot.
Too bad about the ordeal with your right foot, no doubt that you may find a way to overcompensate for it.

Hopefully nothing too serious with your foot Nick. Youve been putting in some great work. Hate to hear that it would hold you back.
What did you think of the Eagles draft? Im pretty happy with it overall. Cox was a huge addition and along with Dameco Ryan, the D is shaping up nicely.

My bench is starting to feel much better and it's probably because this is the longest layoff I have had from football in 6 years. I'm going to push it while I can. The 365 was very fast probably had 3 in me.
