I think this is appropriate for this forum, feel free to move if otherwise. Calorie counter apps that you can carry around with you on your phone or ipod are awesome! It makes it much easier to keep track of your macros.
Share your opinions on what you use!
This is what I use for my Motorola Droid. As far as I know this is the best one out for Google Android:
"Calorie Counter" by Fatsecret
http://www.androlib.com/android.appl...roid-jqpD.aspx
Pros:
Free
Easy to use
Relatively accurate library of nutrition facts
Barcode scanner - pulls up nutrition labels so you don't have to type in names
Can save custom foods (ie home made protein shakes)
Cons:
Default layout shows 3 meals per day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) + snacks
Doesn't work when there is no internet/wifi (won't work if you're phone doesn't have service and you're not in a wifi zone)
Can't record times
Is Airtel Live or Vodafone Live accessible in Android phones? Airtel Live or Vodafone Live generally don't work in Windows mobile phones. Is that the same with Android phones?
