There was no part of me that wanted to be in the gym tonight. It was just something I had to do. On one of the early sets I caught the side of my hand in the rack under the bar. Thankfully Karsten had Crazy Glue in his bag, he actually has everything in his bag. I still managed to leave some dna on the bar.
Anyway I had a few misses tonight. I am having a shoulder issue so I tried to take a raw rep with a closer grip than usual, that was a no go. I brought it out and went back and got it. Later in the shirt, I just couldn't finish a lift, but I went back and got that one as well. I could not have done it without the awesome crew I train with.

Nice benching Vincent. It takes some real gut to keep coming back and making lifts you missed. You got better last night brother. Congrats on having a great crew to train with. It makes the biggest difference in the world.

It always boggles my mind how you keep doing attempt after attempt in your training. I would die after the first few.
Nice benching Vin!!!

Impressive and inspirational lifting Vinny. Strong stuff.
Damn you set the chains high. I like them to be pretty much deloaded when the bar is on the chest.
But it's all the same really. You just have more weight on the chest is all.

That's the difference between the best and the average.
It's easy to train whn you are slamming weights week in week out and always feeling fresh, but can you maintain high intensity when you just dont want to be there, when a million different things ache, and all you want to do is call it quits? Its those sessions where you learn a lot about yourself and whether you have what it takes to be a good lifter.
Awesome work Vinny, it takes balls to keep coming back like you do.
Being a strong teenager means nothing.
My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.
Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.
