Box squats look great. I'd say that's parallel but if anything, you could probably do with sitting back a little more if you wanted. Increase the height of the box jumps there, Sally! Box jumps are fun as ****!

nice dude. your squat form kicks ass
I used to do those same box jumps on the same type of equipment when I used to work at Urban Active. Very dangerous, haha. I would jump up and then just quickly touch the top and jump off of the other side, that ish gets so wobbly. I never thought about trying to put it in front of a wall, I guess I was afraid I'd be too worried about falling backward somehow.
Are you able to get those box squats to the point where you can "release" your hips as you sit down and then explode up?

I probably could a little bit. That was the highest I could go haha. My head started to graze the ceiling at the top.
Thanks man! I <3 squats
Yea its wobbly, I feel fine with it against a wall however. I was relaxing my hip flexors for a splint second to disrupt the kinetic chain but not trying to explode up. I think with some more practice I could get it down with that weight, it was going up pretty easily.

Good deal on the box jumps and squats, like those vids dude.
Thanks coke I felt good about them.
Today my glutes have doms. OMG my ass doesn't need to be any bigger. My glutes in terms of mass are definitely my biggest muscle, maybe that's one reason why I've always been a pretty good squatter. I've come to find girls actually like a big firm glutes but mine are already big enough haha. My friends mom told me I have a nice butt haha that was kinda weird. Then one of my girl friends asked me why I have such a bubble butt made me lol.

Nice box jumps and squats. How many boxes did you have there? I worked up to 19 plus the big step, but got freaked out at 20. I'll probably try to go for it tomorrow.

Did you pay Louie Simmons to use that saying? J/k, but I guess it's up for grabs now that it's changed. I've injured myself hard from box jumps! However, I used actual plyo adjustable boxes. Now I only use mats because I wouldn't even attempt a 20" box jump after that injury lol.

Thanks! I love jump training I'm just getting into it.
I would gladly give you guys one if you lived around here.
That's a jacked wall of muscle fibraz you're looking at.
That saying has been around longer than westside barbell. But westside makes it more of a badass saying. How did you injure yourself?

I'm happy to see that you look like something as a personal trainer. I see too many guys who don't look like they've ever touched a weight yet they're giving people instructions on how to be healthier.
Do you have much more room/time to grow your business, or are you pretty happy with your clientele? Also, what type of certification do you have currently?

Thanks I completely agree so many ****ty trainer out there. My business is pretty much the most built up it can be right now. I'm solid booked, then next step is to open up my own studio which to be honest I'm kind of scared to do. It's a huge leap.
Ok so last night I got a nasty bite from my iguana on my right index finger. Really deep the amount of blood was insane. I was feeding him his favorite food grapes and he just went ape ***** and bit my finger. It probably needs stitches. I wasn't sure what to do in this situation skip Deadlift or deadlift with 4 fingers on my right hand. So I dled with 4 finger grip on my right hand today.

After reading your thought process about debating if you would DL or not, I knew you would go through with the DL, even with 9 good fingers.
445x2 is tremendous!
What's the next DL session going to bring you to weight-wise?

Nice bench work and awesome deadlift PR- to suck it up and lift is great!!
Just watched the squats 315 x3 to parallel box, looked good but as Keith said you could sit back a little more (not a huge amount) your form is solid.
