    My sobriety journal

    I hope this is allowed here....

    Background

    I've been using drugs consistently for 7 years. It started at age 12 with marijuana which I have been smoking almost daily ever since. At the age of 15 I started doing cocaine. It lasted about a year and a half until I did ecstasy. So from 16 to 17 I did E heavily. At the age of 17 I was introduced to opiate and benzo pharmies. Lasted two years until I switched to heroin. This is where I stand.

    I consider myself a functional addicted. However, I have seen the damage it has done to my family, school, strength/physique, love life, and bank account. Throughout my drug use I was an athlete but never lived up to my full potential

    Objective

    Quit my drug use to focus on my fitness / lifting / lacrosse

    Good luck. I assume you are also in some kind of drug treatment/counseling/sobriety program. Keep doing whatever you have to in order to stay clean.
