hey guys...ok so ever since i started weightlifting in high school (appx. 10 yrs ago) ive always been unable to perform any type of tricep excercise that involves pulling (IE skull crushers, rope pulldown, etc.) due to a very sharp pain in my left elbow area. basically if i try to perform any pulling excercise in anyhting heavier than a light weight, i experience a popping sensation in my left elbow/lower tricep area accompanied by a very sharp pain that intesifies with every rep. now, i know i probably should have gotten it checked out, but since the pain never occurred when performing any other movement or excercise, i just stuck to doing pushing type tricep excercises (IE dips, bench, etc.). the problem is, ive recently started weightlifting on a serious level and realized that being unable to perform a majority of tricep excercises is holding me back in terms of tricep strength. i plan to go toa doctor to get it looked at but i was just curious if anybody on here has ever experience a similar pain or have any thoughts on what could be causing it? thanks in advance!
