    Maybe you just need to get "weird with it" as Dante says. I always did regular BB/DB curls but saw good progress with controlled negative, big stretch at the bottom preacher curls. You just have to find out what works for you.

    The bicep is stretched when your arm is extended and behind the plane of your upper body. A preacher curl isn't going to stretch your bicep.

    Incline DB curls are the one bicep exercise that truly stretches your bicep.

    Interesting, it always felt like a good stretch in the bottom position. I have done Incline DB Curls as well and like them as well.

    Until you get to a certain point. I hate dips now and haven't done them in probably a year. I can rep out 150+ lbs but it fucking destroys my wrists. I've even tried doing them with wrist wraps on. Something about the way your hands are positioned, puts way more pressure on my wrists compared to something like a close grip bench.
