Aiming for about 4k to start, .3 pounds or so a week.
I bought some Inzer knee sleeves, love them for squats and DLing.
"Light Weight"
Best Meet: B/345 Sq/605 DL/655
Calorie goals look solid. Just judge how the weight gain comes and make the necessary adjustments. If you find yourself falling short some days, then get the calories in some how. You want to avoid 3-4 days straight of not hitting your calorie goals. I'd make sure you are getting it in one way or another.

That reminds me of the sommersault squats that I've been doing. The way I do them is have the bar placed across your lap and you roll your body over the bar as you proceed upwards.
I can tell you that the exercise in the link would hammer your quads like nothing else. The sommersault squats take me to absolute quadricep failure. Awesome exercises, both of them.

Remember, neoprene sleeves like vulkan/rehband/tommy kono will not add anything to your lifts. They are there to provide warmth and comfort. I can vouche for the fact that they make my heavy squat sessions more comfortable
Yea, I think I'm going to eventually pick up the Vulkans, but I may wait until my paycheck comes in.
Will do.
The guys over at IM are really innovative when it comes to exercise selection.
It honestly wasn't that great and I was shocked how many calories were in there after. Blizzard > Mixer.
Yep.
Heh, what would you suggest then? 1lb?
I know, I don't want to add any weight to my lifts due to equipment.. I may just lightly wrap my cheap knee wraps I have right now and pick up the sleeves later on.

Pre-workout: Felt Pretty tired, but decided to give it a shot anyways. My best workouts have been when I was sick, so I figured maybe the same would happen here. 4/10.

Notes: Overall a very solid workout. I taped the hack squats and the front squats. I'll post them up later tonight probably. I may just give 225# a go next time with the front squats.
Barbell hip thrusts really seemed to hit my hammys hard. I liked them alot. Will be a staple posterior exercise from now on.
My DB and BB curl strength has gone through the roof lately and I'm not sure why. Granted, my bb curl could be stricter (my elbows tend to move forward too much), but my db curls are pretty damn strict. Weird.

I find they're hellacious on the glutes. I haven't had a ton of hamstring contraction in with them but my hams have definetly felt more pumped and harder since adding them so there obviously is additional stimulation I wasn't getting prior to adding them. So far I've squeezing at the top and making sure to lockout the hips and squeeze hard like you're trying to hyper-extend to be where the major contraction is at. I've also found doable to use a very large amount of weight once you get a little more comfortable with them. I've never in my life had glute doms like after these. I'm still completely green in the movement though, just sharing what I've found over the last month or two.
