You perked up a bit. Overall you did well today. I know how hard it is for you and Tim to stick to a deload and you both did just that. Nice job.

Bad week, work is killing me mentally and CNS was shot I guess.
Monday did benching in the shirt got 5 sets in the shirt touching to the chest with 505. Not great and it was a effortbut got like 2 reps each set and did 5 sets.
That in itself killed me and work finished me off.

So nothing till Saturday and then I did not feel like working out.

    325 x 3
    415 x 2

Should have done another set but form was getting loose and not risk getting messed up.

    working sets
    545 x 3 to chest
    545 x 2 to chest
545 x 2 to chest not great on this set
545 x 0 Just did not have it in me to do right called it.

Okay was supposed to do 5 set of 3 just not there yet. I feel I should have gotten 5 set of 2 but that 4th set was ugly.
However to do 3 set to the chest is great and my endurance to do that I think has increased. These sets the weight popped up and lock out was effortless, which is usually unusual for me. I know the shirt was on differently and it was lower in the front than last week so that made it pop more but lockout still has me baffled as it was not an issue on the 3 good sets. Still need to keep the shoulders down more on the reps but it is going good.
    Good Luck!

I was satisfied with your performance tonight. You're not where you need to be yet but you're alot closer than you were. You ability to do work in the shirt is beginning to come up. Plus, the fact that you're not bitching about it and just getting it done is very good to see. You're on your way. These are the numbers you need to be training with in order to reach that 650 goal we've got. As your work load increases your strength will follow suit. Need to keep tighter and reset between reps. Nothing much else was wrong with those sets. Nice job tonight.

You did great Mike. stay positive and ice and roll whatever is hurting. Crew is already down 1 squatter right now don't need another guy down. last set would have been easy but you didn't sit back from my view you went straight down. but with max effort you will have some form issues. Great job squat is looking ready for big pr

Granted we give him heaps of shit, but Mike is an incredible lifter in his own right. He's probably one of the strongest overall lifters in his age/weight class. You just can't beat the guy down. The only thing that hold Mike back now are some of the mistakes he made long ago. Flexibility issues, injuries, and the like. He works hard to fix them, but honestly without those things hindering him it'd be scary to see what this man would accomplish. It's already amazing to see what he accomplishes now WITH those things.

first off your squats weren't high. you looked fine. alittle worn out but fine.
    2) if you want to pullout thats your choice but you're definetely on par for a pr squat and probably total. Who knows what tomorrow will bring bud. Still what 6 weeks out, that's too early to make a decision.
