Dan Harrison - Strongman/Powerlifter 903 lbs (410 Kg) Deadlift, No Suit

Dan pulled a new PR this week and broke into the 900 lbs club, the most impressive part was that just three months ago was when he pulled his first 800 lbs deadlift! He competes in strongman which is why he wore straps and hitched, but he has pulled high 700's in a raw PL meet and squatted over 800 lbs raw as well.

He is enormous, in one of his videos he runs over to the camera after the lift and someone commented "I like the part where the white gorilla charges the camera".

Freaky strong! He really does look like a guerrilla when he's squatting/leaning forward on the bar. Beastly.

Dan has gotten crazy strong. I met him at a meet about 18 months ago. He was a 275, and I think he deadlifted 705. Then he started eating enough for 10 and got huge. He squats over 800 raw.

    That 800 was amazing!

So was the 900, but the 800 just looked so solid.

I respect his strength, but I just can't get into the crazy hitching allowed in strongman.

Dan has mentioned that he uses some Westside principals in his training.

He has been very focused lately, training hard and eating well.

Dan's PR is a 405 lbs log press out of the rack.
