Hey guys, I've been working out consistently for 3 months eating 3000-3500 calories a day and about 160 grams of protein a day. I gained aroung 15 pounds in my 3 month bulk and am still going.
Here is 3 months ago weighing 150 pounds (sorry for bad quality)
Here is 3 months from then weighing 165 pounds
Sorry for the bad picture quality guys. I know I didn't make incredible gains, but just wondering what you guys think. Thanks guys
Obvious improvement. What's your ultimate goal?
By goal do you mean plan? Or how I want to look? I want to be lean, but also big at the same time. So I think I should bulk to around 175-180. I just dont know a whole lot about cutting so I may need advice on what to do after.
Definite progress. Keep up the good work...and get that squat up (wink-wink).

lol alrighty will do man ill try my best! do you think leg curls or leg extensions are better to improve squats? which ones better?
You can do both exercises, but remember that your hamstrings, glues, lower back and overall core are involved on Squats along with your quads. It's a great exercise to incorporate into your routine. I'd just recommend to start off with squats at the beginning of your workout as they can take a lot of focus and energy to complete, then finish with the Curls and Extensions. Make sure you warm up and get a good groove on your squats. You want to make sure your form is good.
Once you've been doing them for a while you can do other exercises first. The exercises that you choose to do can be dependent upon what types of equipment you have access to. If you can do squats, then definitely do them. I fell in love with squatting around 15-16 years of age, and my strength shot up quickly.

Consistency is the key to success within this sport...
IMO the best exercise to improve squats, is doing more squats and making sure your technique is correct.
oh okay, thanks for the tips guys!
