I can only imagine what is going to happen with your deads!
Strong sets! One question, why the shuffling of your feet when using a monolift?
Chris, there are a few reasons. One our monolift doesnt adjust, I dont like it at that height when I am using a closer stance. Keith was squatting in prep for meet so I went with it. Plus I like walking weights out a lot of times anyway. It was a basic setup issue. Hope that answers your question. Thanks!
Looking strong!!!!

Thanks Brian! How is training going for your meet?

Hulk242, one thing,
IMHO your form looks less than optimal,
your lower back is rounding instead of maintaining a slight arch
then you seem to be hunching a bit when you come up, you wanna keep the head /chest high or straight
same thing going on with DLs at the end of vid

This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; the being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy - George Bernard Shaw

To rugby, I am not an expert on Olympic squats and my form is probably not the best. They served the purpose though. On my regular squats I do get an arch. I know all about the head and chest up. On the deadlifts, got to disagree. They were done without an arch on porpose. They were stiff legged and trying to tax hammstrings. Brian, hang in there. you probably just need to listen to your body more and give it time to adapt. I learned that in my transition. Good luck to you!
Hulk, on the Olys it helps to really try and wrench your elbows under the bar. But, those looked like they served their purpose, as you stated.

Thanks alot Adam, I appreciate it!!! I do think that the main thing that has been bothering me is that I haven't been consistent with my training. Some weeks I'll train 3x and others I'll train 2x. But hopefully after this meet I'll be able to get back on track and train like I use to.

Thanks Joey, I will try that. My bad bi/tri flares up sometimes making that hard but I will try a little more especially on heavier sets.
No problem, and remember with these, you don't even have to really go heavy to get a lot out of them. I often stay in the 225 range and rarely go above 315. I was doing them after 5-3-1 deadlifts for my first 3 waves.

Sorry, but that kind of weight would do nothing for me. I raw squat 800 lbs. To push that up, I push heavy weights. Not to a max a lot but you have to load the bar. A few pointers are good but it's not like I don't know what I am doing.
If you are squatting 800 lbs raw you definitely know what you are doing...
I understand. Weight is always relative to what you can do. Find what is effective for you was my point. That weight is good for me and did not mean that is what you should or need to do obviously. For you, probably double that will do the trick. Good luck with your meet.
