Whats up guys, I'm new to posting but enjoy WBB community and all the articles. So I've been preparing for my first bodybuilding competition since the 14 week mark, and have been making good progress along the way. Although now I'm at the 8 week mark and not sure where I should be at, and for the first time, my bodyfat% did not go down (I do weekly measurements with omrons bodyfat anaylzer, I know its not the most accurate but i do feel its consistant).
I have not been cutting calories since the 14 week mark, maintaining around 3000 calories, but i have been adding and increasing cardio to where I am doing it 4x a week now. I'm not sure if i should cut calories now or just continue to add cardio. Preserving muscle mass is of course the main objective.

I have been working in carb cycling the past week, with 1-2 high days and 2-3 low days and with a moderate day on the weekend to allow me to have somewhat of a life. I plan on adding an extra day of some SS cardio, so it would be three 25min SS cardio days and two 20 min HIIT sessions, and I plan on going a little lower then normal on my low carb days then i'm use to. I've always been cautious of low carbing (less then 50 grams a day) b/c I feel like I lose too much weight, and usually dont know where to get the other calories to compensate for the carbs I'd normally take. Which is why I like the idea of carb cycling. I love having the feeling of having a high carb day after 2 low days, and feeling my muscle fill up with glycogen lol. I just need to get a better feel for how high on my high days, and how low on my low days.
I respect this community and any feedback/advice would be appreciated.

First of all, you looks amazing in your pics.
I'm not the best person to give detailed pre contest advice, but have you considered hiring someone? For example Shelby Starnes is amongst the best and he might cut you an 8 week deal (his pre contest is 16 weeks for 900 bucks) Alternatively I know he does a $149 one off consultation.
I guess my view is you owe it to yourself to come in the best and not have to guess how to do things so why not hire a pro?

Also try and contact Unholy or Accress from these forums - both compete and should be able to help you out although if you want very detailed, personalized advice you might have to pay for it.

Your conditioning looks good for 8 weeks out. The thing you have to watch out for is to not over diet and come in looking stringy. Its hard to diet yourself for a contest because you tend to see things that are not there and you can be your own worst enemy. Its better to have an objective eye looking at you so you are not pinballing everywhere. Dainel is right in that for competition purposes you need more detail. I definitely wouldn't have you add in more cardio.

I actually have thought about hiring someone llke shelby, but to be honest, did not think of it until recently where I've now feel like I have all these questions. I saw his one time consultation fee, but I would like to probably inquire on a modified version of his 16 week package. I feel like without a professionals help, I will not be able to fully maximize my potential in my first competition. As far as dieting, alot has been trial and error. Although I have been carb cycyling (only since last week), I am still guessing to find the right amount of carbs on my low and high days. I feel I handle carbs well, so definitely need them.
