Almost anyone who trains with weights is chasing a strong squat, a brutal bench press, and a dauntless deadlift. They’re the three most popular lifts for good reason and are used extensively not just by powerlifters but also bodybuilders, Olympic weightlifters, strongmen, and athletes.
Bret Contreras and several other leading strength professionals in the industry share their favorite assistance lifts for the three powerlifts.

Can I have some lean muscle & strength please? – My Training Journal
This was great, as a bodybuilder who cares little about strength other than its indication of hypertrophy I actually took home a ton from this. Particularly in the squat and deadlift recomendations. I know I have a weak posterior chain and apart from the local size I know ill see when I get it stronger, I know it will also carry back over to already strong points when I can get my lifts more balanced and on the up and up.
There was at least 4 or 5 exercises listed that made me think... wow that could help me tremendously and I'm anxious to incorporate.
Hats off to another good one
