if some raw lifters (as they are notorious in my opinion for being good judges of depth, and plus i train raw) could tell me how high this squat is?
i came across this video on youtube and to me it looks like its about a half squat, but apparently its only 1-2" high. so this squat is only 1-2" high?
i ask because if thats only 1-2" high then i drastically need to change my form.
thanks for any responses guys.
by the way this isnt a attack on equipped lifters, i have seen a TON of equipped lifters get much lower than this with hundreds of lbs more, im just wondering how far overboard iam when it comes to depth, because that looks really high to me.

That squat looks quite high in the video, yes.
alright man thanks for the response
i said something along those lines on youtube and the guy got in a huge e-battle with me, saying something like "anyone who thinks that shouldnt be allowed to have a opinion." and he got so upset about it i actually thought i might be the one who was wrong.
but it turns out he was wrong, just the typical internet hater trying to make claims that make him self more impressive than he actually is.
anyway i got my answer thanks again.

What the hell???
That's me in the video... thanks selk I appreciate it.
Like the video description states, it was a training lift just done to handle the weight. I know it was high, the view from the side said about 2"
The guy watching me from the side was Ernie Frantz.... needless to say, I was flattered that some RAW nerd flamed my squat. It's a sign that you have made it as a geared lifter.... but who's opinion do I trust? Ernie Frantz who saw the lift himself? or some nerd on the internet who I've never met and who's only videos are of him in the gym? no meets, lots of bicep curling.
Bottom line is that it's really weird to get that worked up over a training video.

that's nice..... I posted a training lift, not a meet lift, not a world record. I even said it was high. The camera in Byrd's video is set up at a better angle too.
How insecure do you have to be to start trying to argue about someone's training lift......
if it makes you feel better, here is me at a real meet with Bev and Mike McDaniels, and Gregg Damminga judging.

I know what proper depth should be AND I don't spend all day worrying if everyone I've never met is training to proper depth every week.
Let it go champ.....
