Paul Anderson did not squat 1200 raw. Period. He probably quarter squatted that amount and people started saying he did a full squat.

Too many different ways to measure strength to choose one guy. Have to say Garry Frank moved some impressive weight though. And in loose gear.

Overall pure static strength probably Kaz or Savickas.
Has anybody else benched 300 kg raw and pulled 400 kg in the deadlift besides Kaz? Garry Frank might have been able to but to my knowledge he never benched raw in a meet.
Kaz so far, with Benni, Savikas, Garry Frank, and Donnie T behind him.....
the big one, and I can't believe I'm the first to post this.....
I will be..... some day.
Meet PR's: 1008-711-744 = 2464
Gym PR's... don't count ... time to do another meet!
Jon Cole has been mentioned once and Is definitely deserving of consideration. His 2259 total at 275 and 2364 at 308 (raw, knee wraps only) haven't been broken after 39 years!
I wouldn't say the strongest, but it we are making a list, one not mentioned yet was O.D. Wilson.
He lost WSM in 1990 by just half a point to Jon Pall Sigmarsson.
Squat 462 kilograms (1,019 lb)
Bench Press 257 kilograms (567 lb)
Deadlift 406 kilograms (895 lb)
Total 1,102.5 kilograms (2,431 lb)
IPF champion in 1988.
He won the 1990 Pure Strength competition when Bill Kazmaier was his partner. Kaz told me years ago that if OD hadn't died so young he would have lifted weights that no one ever had. Kaz had a lot of respect for OD.

Kaz, Frank, Bolton... and more recently that big guy that pulled 1015 raw!!!![]()
not even gonna touh this one, just too many variables to say strongest of all time
like for example
- strength relative to size
- lifters and claims of bygone eras, no way to truely be sure of veracity, not like we have video of those feats
- strongest overall, or just really strong at certain feats?
I think jon pall sigmarson & paul anderson are right up there
