Pulls looked good Gaz, I'd say you had at least 3-5 reps with the 357 set.

Thanks Brian! I'd hope I could have about 5 reps with that on a good day as, if you look back a few pages, I did a triple with 180kg(396lbs) a few weeks back.
Thanks Rileigh! Didn't feel particularly heavy, tbh, though singles rarely bother me - it's when I try to get reps with reasonably heavy weights that my form begins to break down.
Cheers Coke! Was a good day.
Haha, didn't realise I was until I saw the vid. Cheers Rob.
Thanks Tom! Will hopefully get a vid up of some heavier pulls this cycle, 180/190kg maybe.
Thanks Hayden!!
Really suffering this morning - had to get out of bed at 6:30am as got struck with a horrendous pain square between my shoulder blades. Just had a half hour contrast shower and took two paracetamol (all we have as we're on a weekend holiday, didn't bring much with us) and it's eased off a little, not crippling now, merely uncomfortable.
Dobn't know what brought it about. I did sleep on top of the covers (the room was really warm to begin with) so could possibly have caught a draught on it.
Or maybe during one of my DL sets yesterday I had my shoulder blades pinched without knowing and pulled it, for it to only start hurting this morning?
I don't know, either way I'm glad it's deload week, not in till Monday for Squats. Gonna try and hunt down some ibuprofen and deep heat from a local store.

Still sore today, but a bit better. Contrast showers definitely helping, as are the ibuprofen and deep heat.
Will be home this afternoon, so will do some foam-rolling later.
Doesn't feel too serious as it seems to get better throughout the day, only seems to be hurting first thing in the morning after not using it for ages. Taking it easy this week, so hoping it'll be healed up for the next cycle in time to get heavier for the meet.

That sucks Gaz, I hope this doesn't set you back. Just take it easy and hopefully you be back to normal so you can train for the meet. How many more weeks are left?

Felt great after that session, really relaxed. Strained lat didn't hurt at all, it only seems to be hurting now when I sit down (like now, typing on this).
Still hate leg curls on the lying down leg curl machine. Might do SLDLs or GMs instead to try to hit hams.

SLDL have helped me a ton Gaz. I don't even do them heavy, I actually do them quite light and just make sure I get a good stretch from it.

Make sure you bring talc powder for some sumo SLDLS. I always get caught up on my legs when I do those.

Sweltering hot here in England today. Sweating like a rapist in the gym.
Got in, got work done, go out, very quick and easy.
Worried about straining Lat again, so didn't do any Rows, instead I did some light, easy lat pulldowns.
Missed out on Overhead day on Sunday, so got my assistance in from that too, tri pds and curls. Got a curl PR to boot, wooh!

Maybe you're getting the heat wave we just had here in Nova Scotia. Was crazy hot here all weekend - was nice for the long weekend.
Good light and easy deload session Gaz!
Cheers Rileigh. And yeah, warm again today. Will have to go out on the bike, take advantage.
Also, Push n Pull Competition that was scheduled for next month has been cancelledLack of interest apparently. Told them to put that entry fee towards the new competition they're trying to set up for later in the year, rather than messing around sending it me back.

Sucks about the comp, man. On the bright side though, more time to train means bigger numbers when it's rescheduled.

That sucks about the meet. I agree with Tom, that will give you more time to train and put up bigger numbers.
