Hey guys, not forgotten about you.

Didn't train yesterday - first missed session since Feb. Head was just really pounding and I thought it'd just be a really bad idea to go in and start squatting.

I'm going in tomorrow, moving my squat session to then. Sposed to be Press according to the routine, but I'm not missing out on my squats for the week! I'll see how the first few sets go as to whether I'll make it a deload or not. If I feel strong then I'll just do a heavy session.

Keeping diet in check. Didn't record my fitday yesterday, but I know I didn't eat much, plus I did a metric fuck-ton of walking.

Got today's meals already planned out.

Never a bad idea to postpone other lifts for a missing squat session. Good luck.

    Cheers OR.

Had a surplus of energy this afternoon, so had a bodyweight session to burn it off and keep me limber.

    Press Ups:

    5x20

    Crunches:

    5x20

    Bodyweight Squats:

    5x10

Had me sweating like a pig.

Thanks Brian. I know my vision starts going blurry anyway when I'm doing 20 reppers, so wouldn't want to risk it with a headache lol. I'd probably pass out!

    Day Sixty Five - Squats!

    10x44 (20kg)
    6x88 (40kg)
    6x220 (100kg)
    6x265 (120kg)
    1x286 (130kg)
    0x309 (140kg)
    20x176 (80kg)

    --------------
    Summary:

All the weights felt very heavy today. Got under the 220 and thought, good lord this feels heavier than I remember it.

The rep at 286lbs (130kg) felt very heavy, but I felt like I had a little bit more in me.

Tried for 3 plates, but bit off more than I could chew. Laid it down on the rack at the bottom, no hassle, no risk of hurting myself. Don't think I'm going to get this until I'm off my cut.

Felt absolutely shattered by then, but came in wanting to do 20 reppers, so 20 reppers I did.

Cheers OR. Felt really heavy, but glad I got through it.

Aching all over now. Think I've pretty much depleted whatever excess energy I had left over when I started my cut. Running on reserves now, haha! Hopefully that means some big physique changes are a-coming.

Thanks Nick. I'm not worried - I know that lifting is a long-haul game. I'm happy just to maintain my strength for the next few weeks whilst cutting. Soon as I start eating again I know the PRs'll come flying in.
