I had a great session. The double PR was sweet, I felt like I still had way more in me, but saved it for another day, didn't want to get greedy.
I wanted to get more reps on the stiff legs, but the chains kept falling off... bands or straight weight seems a better idea on those.

Not too happy that I didn't get a good squat in with the straps up, though I can't complain too much as it was my first time getting this suit all the way on and using it. Next session will be box squats to try and get used to the suit more.

Great training session. Worked up to a solid 655 opener, and still had plenty more in me. My meet is coming up fast, so I will put up some decent numbers in my first multiply competition.

Competition Report for SPF Sacramento, CA 11-5-2011
I competed in the 242lb class (but weighed 222). Multiply wearing standard ginny canvas no breifs.
Squat:
635lb = 3 whites clean opener
685lb= 3 whites,
705lb = 3 white lights and nice speed! My first competition 3x bodyweight squat!
Bench Press:
380lb = 3 whites, easy opener.
418lb = 3 whites, hard grind at the top.
460lb = Miss, couldn't get a good grip on the bar and hand was numb. I should have had this. Not too happy.
Deadlift (raw)
551lb = 3 whites, felt weird, stiff legged it up.
615lb = big miss at the bottom, tried to stiff leg up after my legs were going out but couldnt grind through.
Pass third
Total = 1674lb

This was a really interesting session. I seem to be rather decent at pulling sumo after narrowing my stance a little. The 495 really shot up fast, would have upped the weight, but the bars at this gym are really slick, even with wrist wraps I was loosing the bar!
Going to play around with sumo a little more and see what I can do with a better bar.
A slippery bar is indeed frustrating. Keep up the great work.
