that's probably a PR on bench. If I only I could stay tight and generate some leg drive, lol
I should add, I do a dynamic warmup before my lifts. Lower body days are a bit more of a warmup.

did some yoke, farmers, axle clean and press (just a little bit for me) and some stones. 2nd real time doing yoke, just need to speed that up.
2nd real time with stones and yoke. Got the 300lb stone over the 50" bar on my 2nd try, pretty happy about that.

thanks man, I was pretty happy with that. Having guys around who know what they are doing helps a ton.
Having me go over the top of the stone once I get it lapped and then keep my chin down on it really helped me out a bunch.
Got a show in 2 weeks that is axle clean and press(each rep), truck pull, yoke walk for 80ft, farmers for 80ft, and stone over bar for 60 seconds.

That was one nice thing about being in the Marines, gym was open 365 days a year
well I found an MMA gym to train at today for 6 bux.
Had to use a squat type bar to do cleans and deads with, kinda sucked, but my fault for not looking around for a better bar (found one after my sets, lol)
Didn't feel great on deads, wanted to get 10 but it wasn't happening. Probably could of grinded out 9 but stopped short.

My right knee feels super tight if I bend it like past 90 degrees and his popping/cracking like excessively. I had fluid on the knee like a year ago and it feels like that, but my knee isn't swollen at all. If I do like a wide stance squat it really doesn't bother me, but if my feet aren't wide, I can't go past like 90 degrees. Feels like something is swollen inside it
Any guesses? Any treatment besides just icing?

upon further examination there is some fluid built up on the right side of the knee cap (like if you're looking down) so that is good. I'll just wrap it up tight, take some motrin and give it a few days.
nice work on the press, for the knee RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevation) is usually a good place to start. The motrin may help some as well.

Thanks. Next contest is axle clean and press (clean each rep) in 45 seconds. They dropped down novice weight from 200 to 180. Not sure what number I am really shooting for.
yeah I took a shot to the knee last year during football and it was swollen up bad for a few weeks. I also played on it during that time, so that didn't really help. I think Yoke just aggravated it some. Not a lot of swelling but a bit. So I got it wrapped up and elevated.
I ordered some blue rehbands and I hope they will help out with yoke and whatnot in the future.

If the blue rehbands aren't enough then you may want to check out the knee sleeves at EliteFTS. The superheavy are probably too much, they're really fucking stiff, but the regular ones (heavy, I think) have good compression and you still have good mobility.

Wanted to see roughly where I was at on bench. 315 is a PR there, I think I had a bit more in me. My strength has skyrocketed in the last 3 months. While I think some of that is because 5/3/1 is awesome (at least so far for me). This is also the 1st time that I have really concentrated on strength. I was always lifting to improve for football (which I was trying to get stronger, but ultimately I was really trying to get faster, etc).
