- Bench Press felt bad. Technique was off tonight. Shoulder was playing up a little (more by collarbone region). Didn't have much time so just quickly did some Flyes and press ups

NZ Nationals is the 4th of August! (Well 3rd to the 5th but I compete on the 4th). So I have 3 weeks (2 training and one deload) I will be competing raw against the equipped guys so it should be fun. All about practice with the strict judging that will be also most definitely be occurring at the Oceania's in December.
Thanks Luna! Yeah figured theres no harm. Bench has been average at best so a quick smash followed by rest may help!

Notes/Thoughts:
Odd day as deadlifts were tough and bench was fast as (far better than the 95's from Saturday). Figured it'd go the other way as the weight dropped, maybe not aye...
Not long to go. One more heavy dead session left (next Mon or Tues), and two of squats (thurs or fridays). Still unsure if the bodyweight dropping is making me weaker, think strength is holding pretty well to be honest.

Thanks Tom! BW is sitting at about 87.0kg (191.8lbs) - clothed before training - so I have practically lost more than I have to lose which is a nice way of looking at it.

Then went home an got on the foam roller attacking the hips, thighs and back. Let it slip lately but have been doing it again most days this week! Got to keep at it.
