the 475 was sweet, i felt very upright and no danger of rounding or bar rolling but i was slow out of the bottom(like a geared squat but with no suit or briefs! hence no rebound!) but once it moved it was smooth and nice!... I was a bit sloppy on the 485 and it rolled slightly enough for me to feel it however i was alot faster out the bottom/slower at the top, need to find a happy medium... form will never be 100% with max weights though or it wouldnt be a max right?
tempted to bring my stance in ever so slightly to get more pop out of the bottom. It seems all well and good trying to squat like the geared boys, but i have no gear on!

Awesome day with the squats.
Great session. You hit some good numbers and it sounds like it was pretty comfortable.
for me I've noticed that if i bring my stance in a little bit i get more of a pop out of the hole, change it up, you won't know what works for you unless you try it out.
looks like you're set up for nice PRs

For me, I like being a little wider also raw. I usually take a stance a little wider than shoulder width. There I feel I can come out of the hole strong while being able to push my knees outward hard. Anything closer and im all over the place. My hips tend to shoot up if im too close.
Thats a great night when you can blow your old bench pr away like you did. Congrats J!

Well today i am exactly 2 weeks out
i am very very tempted to take one last heavy squat tommorow leaving me 13 days out to rest and hit some lighter numbers, was going to de-load this week (work upto around 75% of predicted 3rd attempt) on ME DAYS and do very light quick assistance sessions, and take majority of next week off, if not all...
i want to be fresh, but i also know if i hit a decent squat tommorow it will push me even further motivation and confidence wise like my bench session friday! let me know what any of you guys think if you see this, i shal read it in the morning before work and make my mind up throughout the day
