    Homemade GHR

    i got bored and decided after seeing a picture of a GHR someone made, i thought that looked easy and ill build one too, but here it is

    Wow, thats a LOT of timber!

    I like how the front of the pad curls back under itself (where your thighs contact) - how did you do that?

    Looks like a preacher pad with the down tube removed. Great idea!

    yea it was a decent amount of 2x4's but i kept chaning things along the way to suite my needs and my training partners and it is also adjustable but you really cant tell from the angle in the picture but i can take some more pics and put up diemensions of it if anyone wants them , and yea it is a preacher pad i never used the attachment that went on this smith press i got years ago so i took it off and used it for the pad and it works great
