Home is where the iron is. I like the close grip incline work. For a bit I debated making my incline day with that grip. Maybe down the line I will.

The squats felt pretty good today. I'm still trying to get use to the bar im using until I get my Texas SQ bar. I'm pretty sure I could've knocked out at least 3 more reps on my last set of squats, but I didn't want to burn myself out before deadlifts. As far as deadlifting, it wasn't bad either, but it wasn't easy, lol.

I also traded my vertical leg press for a plate loaded pulldown machine. I'm so excited about my gym. Things are slowly coming together. I'm hoping to have my DL platform by this weekend. I was going to buy the new rouge DL platform, but instead I'll just get 2 sheets of 3/4" 4x8 plywood and lay my stall mat ontop of it. Maybe later down the line i'll buy it, but not now. I need to buy other things that are more important

Yep, I'll be working with him up to my meet in October. That's why I cursed him, lol.

Thanks Hayden, it is tough but so far I think it's worked well for me and I recommend it. It also feels good knowing that all my heavy training is done for the week.

Holding it down dude, doing great!

Was hoping to see you get the pulldown machine while still keeping the leg press, obviously prioritizing or acting on budget, lol...whole home gym is really coming along.

LOL. The 5x3 is the WORST day. Killer from a strength & cardio pov. But you'll like how easy 3x2 feels after that! Nice job!

Thanks a lot Coke!!! I would of kept the leg press if I was a fan of it, but I didn't feel comfortable using it. Plus, I will get more use out of the pulldown machine. I do plan on getting a plate loaded leg extension/leg curl machine for the extra leg work.

Thanks!!! I think the 3x5 with the same weight in a couple weeks is going to be even harder, lol. I was digging deep to finish that's for sure. I'm actually looking forward to next week, because depending on how I feel, I'll be attempting a 3rep PR!!!
