Thanks alot Gazzy. My knee does feel better, but today it was bothering me a little. I stopped wearing my EFS knee sleeves and started wearing my TK sleeves. But I might go back to my EFS sleeves, even though they are thicker. I want as much protection as I can get for my knee.

Fine start to the new journal Brian! I dig the idea for DLs as far as keeping with higher overall volume but not going crazy on the reps.

You'll need to let me know how the recovery goes with this plan. How long did it take you to get this workout in?

So far I feel pretty good. I think not doing the reps at the end allowed me to pull without feeling wore out. That session took me about 2 hours, which is pretty long. But to me it's worth it. Because now I know that all my heavy work is done for the week.

I did that two summers ago and really liked it Brian. I was repping one set at the end. Did squats, deads, and abs. Only negative was some weeks it took 4 days to be able to walk right again. Did hit good squat and dead numbers in the meet which followed though.

I like it before when I did it and I also hit huge PR's while on it, so why not go back to what works. I might start doing abs afterwards instead of any extras, that way I can start focusing more on my ab strength.

Good job on the accessory work Brian. Do you put the boards under your shirt or do you use a band to keep them in place?

Lots of accessory there! Nice, always smart to call it a little short without the spotter. That 20 repper on the DB press must have fatigued the muscles for the next couple of sets, it would me anyway!!

Thanks Hayden!!! That set of 20 did slow me down for the next two. I was wanting at least 15, but I couldn't squeeze them out so I had to stop at 12, lol.
