    Relentless Hopp!!

I have added weighted dips back into my bench accessory too. I am now wondering why the hell I had ever stopped them. Just a few weeks and already feeling the difference again.
This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; the being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy - George Bernard Shaw

Well, I have decided to do the RAW United Beau Moore Classic (depending on if they let me wear my EFS knee sleeves) and today was my first week of meet prep, and it didn't go as good as I wanted. I was suppose to do 410 for 3 sets of doubles. But once again, the gym was empty and no one to spot me. So I had to do the left off myself and I couldn't get comfortable. So I did 2 singles and stopped, because those were hard. I'm thinking about going to Golds and doing my bench work for this meet. More then likely i'll still do the meet even if my training for it doesn't go as good as I would like.

I'm not sure how you liftoff that much by yourself. It does mess up your setup. Hopefully you find someone to liftoff, so you can hit the weights you're capable of in training.

It is and I have no idea how Mike T does it. I'm still gonna do my best in training and hope for the best. I need some gym partners!!!

It was hard and my form was shot once I lifted off. That's why I'm considering going to Golds Gym and doing my bench work. There are a few people I can get to spot me.

The days I benched there by myself I just put a bench in the power rack and put it back farther under the bar. It made the liftoff for myself easy. And if you can still go for an extra rep, because even if you fail the pins catch it. I cannot lift off more than 225-275 on a regular bench otherwise, because the bar is too far behind my head, but mid-300s to low-400s was easy setting it up this way.

I'll try putting the bench further back. But I think a lot of it is mental for me. But we'll see, I'll try it next time if I don't have a spot.
