Anyone else get this? My shoulder routine is:
Seated Dumbell Presses 3x9-11
Standed Lateral Raises 3x9-11
Arnolds 3x9-11
Front DB Raises 2x9-11
Upright Row 3x9-11
It feels tightest during the arnolds and DB presses....
Am I messing up form or is this normal?
You're using some back muscles as stabilizers with those lifts, aren't yah?

If it's your Traps that's sore, han it's normal since they get stress while working shoulders such as upright rows. If not, your form is poor (and/or weights too heavy) which causes you to strain your Back. Happened to me before.
Change is good.
don't go too heavy on upright rows

Don't go too heavy on the lateral raises. They become a complete lat exercise if you use too much weight. I used to have that problem![]()

It is normal becuase you are using your back to help stabilize the weight. You might want to think about dropping the rows, or do them on back day.Originally posted by chrislehr
