Things didnt go completely as planned, but wasnt a terrible day overall. Squatting was fucked from the start when i took my last warmup of 470, which was 80 pounds less then my opener of 550. My first attempt with 550 my knees were wrapped a bit too tight and i lost balance in the hole. The second attempt with 550 was good. 600 was my third and i'm not quite sure what happen but my form was good until the bar somehow rolled up my back and forced me into a round back good morning. I wasnt able to save the lift. Pretty poor showing on the squat.

Bench felt very good in the warmups. Opener was 370 and was smoked. Second was 390 and i hit that good as well. My fourth i took a shot at 410 and it felt very weird when my partner handed it off to me so i racked it and noticed that it was mis loaded by at least a quarter on the left side. I was pretty furious because this was happening all day (bad spotters). Instead of letting the flight go through i took it right away and basically got crushed. Although i was upset 390 is a 15 lb PR.

Deadlifts actually felt heavy in the warmup room but my opener of 630 was a joke. My second attempt was 670 and i hit it for a PR. Third was 700 and as usual, i missed it an inch or 2 from lockout. I think i can pull this on a regular training day, or simply with more form work.

    Here are the deadlift videos.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyI8AzjMRbU - 670
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGFFJig8_qc - 700

I agree i need to start hitting BB rows a little more often. I also want to start doing high block pulls and heavy shrugs again. I think this will get me where i need to be.

    Thanks for the support all.

Ordered a fresh pair of jack briefs. I probably should of waited for the sale but i'm very impatient lol. My aces are just too tight. I dont plan on losing too much weight but rather try to recomp.

No doubt man, that all will work in your favor moving forward.

Impressed with the new benching and deads PRs at the meet, the squats will follow suit next time out.

Good job at the meet man. Regardless of how you felt, those are some huge ass raw numbers. I can't wait to see you pull 700.

I appreciate it Nick. The squat should of been higher thats all. I'm pleased with my bench and deadlift. The cube certainly helped those lifts. I plan on trying 700 in training in a few weeks.
