LUX DLX which is a game very much like Risk. I believe android/ipads/iphones are stupid. The only reason I own an Ipad 2 is because I won it and I plan on selling it soon. I don't see the point of it: too small to work and too big to carry around. The main fun thing is how easy you can lay on the couch or on the bed to use it as a fancy ebook reader or to surf the interwebz. Then there is the battery life. I admit that the screen is fantastic, when I spend time reading on it and then go buy to my main computer, all whites look grey. I'd buy a smaller laptop instead.
I believe people will eventually realize how unneeded tablets are and their sales will drop. In the meanwhile Apple will keep making tons of money.
wrong. the note is a phablet

Completely disagree with you on tablets. Right now? Yes they are pretty useless at least for me. Once they are able to do everything that a laptop can do (which is only a matter of when not if) they will only be used more and more.
What would be the point of buying a laptop when a tablet can do everything it can do? The only reason would be to have a hardware keyboard. Which most likely people will just buy one and plug it into the tablet.
Eventually our phones will become PCs that we just move around to monitors and keyboards. Think about it for a second in 1985 my smart phone would be the most powerful computer in the world. It would be close to as powerful as laptops released 10 years ago that's insane.
Just talking about it makes me excited to see what were doing 50 years from now. I just hope I'm not one of those old people who doesn't understand anything thats going on.

yeah. if anything, tablet sales will prosper as miniaturization packs more power into the tablet form factor. theyre as powerful as laptops from 2-3 years ago. if there was a full windows tablet that was actually practical I would get one. however, i already have a phone, laptop and 2 desktops. last thing i need is another device to stream porn
Google maps ftw!
Chris,
Some of the basic apps I like are:
Yelp (helps me find local eateries in town or when traveling)
Flashlight (you'd be amazed at how useful it can be)
Facebook and Twitter
Games: cut the rope, doodlejump, temple run (help pass time when bored)
IMDB (internet movie database)
I just recently download a couple 5/3/1 apps. They aren't by Wendler, but they are supposed to help you track progress. Haven't used them yet, but they look promising.
I also downloaded a couple CrossFit apps as well, you can log or search for workouts. Haven't use these too much either, but they seem ok.
m/37/5'10/194
Back Squat 435lbs
Shoulder Press 195lbs
Deadlift 505lbs
Bench Press 315lb
I have a Nexus which i use the shit out of.
Evernote is my main app. Incredibly usefull app.
Gmail+native email app
Dropbox
Astro
DocsToGo (for office and direct syncs with laptop)
Google Calendar (widget + auto sync)
Medscape+epocrates (for clinical work)
Merriam Webster medical
Wikipedia (for quick searches)
Skype (for really cheap long distance in wifi zones)
My phones native GPS+navigation
Would love to start using Tasker, but haven't gotten the time to program my phone. Smartphones have seriously changed how productive I am.
Love my tablet as well since I'm often reading .pdfs, ebooks, .pubs and since I'm always on the road/overseas.
