IMHO alcohol is soo overrated.... I dont like getting drunk at all.
Some people get happy and laugh and **** when they do... man I just get slower and slower and i dont feel comfortable walking let alone dancing. When I drank a bunch what i most wanna do is just sit down and drink a load of water to fight that bigass dehydration.....
All my friends work like 2 days of the week, just to afford all the booze they down on saturday night..... why man... its not that good or nothing. Id rather party without it or just have maybe 1-2 drinks.
So why do you guys like to get all :alcoholic ?

Reiner- When you probably think about getting drunk, when drinking you would miss out on half the fun. In college I just used to drink for the hell of it with friends in the beach.
It dont know how it is rated, but I would say, it is an experience that has to be experienced and am unable to describe it.

if it does help someone, then they might want to drink to loosen up. it might make someone feel more comfortable around people they like. it might make them more upbeat and more up to dancing and things. they might like the way they feel because it is probably different than the way you feel. they might be addicted umm hmm what else. they also might do it because it is a habit.. they might not be addicted, but they might think that they need to drink to have a good time. if they are on a routine where drinking=fun.. then they want to do it a lot

ok, I think these fewls just like to party and thats all. Personally, I like the taste of beer. I will NOT go out and buy crap beer such as Bud Light (Allie, get over it..this stuff sucks ass), Busch/busch lite, Coors etc. I'll get good tasting, smooth, drinkable beer. Thats not to say I don't like to get drunk on occasion with my buddies. Its just a riot and a good time. But, the last thing on my mind is dehydration. The first thing is chillin with my buds and enjoying myself. I can do that with a few beers or 12-15 beers..depends on how much I want. The reason it makes you slow is because alcohol is a depressant. But people just ignore it and keep goin...eventually I pass out from bein so tired though.
I don't drink that often either...when I'm not on a diet its 1-2 times a week. Thats all really...this damn diet though.. I haven't drank since May 25th. It sounds like your friends are just acting their age and like to party is all. It will eventually grow out of'em. As for you my friend...enjoy yourself with'em..plain and simple. If you wanna have a beer or two then do it. If not, enjoy your company and be happy you can be able to talk to that chick without slurring your words...LOL.
