    That certainly is weird.

    I wonder how many "real" muscleups that guy could do? When you swing or "kip", you completely defeat the purpose of the muscleup IMO.

    I mean, I think everyone can do a pullup and everyone can do a dip. The real benefit of a muscleup is in "navigating" that hellish transition using your strength only.

    This should be in the crossfit section for sure... but... i did 7 consecutive muscle-ups at 270lbs last week.

    Much like the other "contests" I've seen here in the last week or so... if you can't be good at what everyone else is good at, find something nobody else really thought of doing.

    Not to say that a burpee muscle up isn't an interesting challenge, even with a shitload of kipping.
