Everything from prejudging said Wolf was going to win. Branch must have turned it on. That's a big win for him.

Branch looked horrible. missing a right quad. He's shredded and has mass, but he is hideous.
Would have been fine with wolf or branch, although wolf's conditioning was the weaker of the three. I can't overlook Pak's synthol delts, and his back is horrendous,
but he probably had the best conditioning of the top six.
Warren gets the nod from me for the single reason he posed to Rocky.

Horrible judging as usual. Warren should never win. Centopani or Wolf should have won.
Being there in person I 100% think Wolf should have won. Bodybuilding is about the X frame (small waist, quad swep, broad caped delts), not just pure muscle mass. Branch had even more muscle than last year and because he's 5'5" he has that blocky look. Don't get me wrong he is very impressive and out muscled everyone, but overall does not have the total package like Wolf did.
Wolf could of been harder on the backside, but still looked better IMO than Branch. Evan looked great at 4 weeks out and come contest time he lost that hard grainy and full look, which leads me to believe he over dieted. This is where I think its crucial to have a coach if for nothing more than a second eye and someone who will tell you when you are point on. I laways have this my last few weeks into a contest.
I was really pleased that Ben P. got 4th as he has a great physique. Well balanced, good symmetry and porportions. Hde looks like a smaller version of Phil heath. Who BTW is a great guy and extremely nice. I trained at the same gym and talked with him in Columbus. Him and Jay cutler are probably the 2 most down to earth and level headed guys in the sport.

You think Ben looks like Heath??? He has no arms and no back (all relatively speaking). Huge delts and legs, but some serious flaws/missing muscle. Heath has everything and is only limited by narrow clavicles.
Shits such a joke anymore. All politics. I knew Branch was going to win, doesn't matter what anybody else looks like. Centopani looked his best so far IMO but he's still not hitting fullness + conditioning 100% yet.
I feel bad for Wolf. Dude has been robbed blind so many times.

He legitimately could have won that Olympia the one year and there wouldn't have been many complaints. Wolf that is.

A few notes....
-I was afraid Evan was going to flatten out.
-Pak needs to work on his back big time.
-Wolf lost for 2 reasons, Branch slightly out-conditioned him, and Wolf's calves didnt go on stage with him....
-Branch's routine was great, showing off the injured quad

off topic real quick, I watched "Hercules in New York" last night. Aside from the sheer awfulness of the film itself, Arnold was fucking massive. Still impressive to see a physique like that look better than some of the current top Pros, yet 40+ years ago.

i knew you were a beast but not that kinda of a beast that eats grown men and children.. lilmase
I agree with the calf statements, but Dexter Jackson won an O without having any of worth and most pros these days seem to be lacking in that department.

His calves will never appear big, they insert insanely high.
