how do you fall asleep quickly?

I'm trying to get up early these days but can't seem to fall asleep fast and then I only sleep for a couple hours and wake up late. How do you guys fall asleep within 5 minutes of hitting the pillow?

You'll probably not win at trying to force yourself to sleep before you're tired. Instead force yourself to get up earlier than you need to be for a little while and you'll likely settle into falling asleep pretty easy.

you have to relax. actively listen to yourself breath. there should be no thoughts running through your head other than actively concentrating on the rhythm of your breathing.

As already mentioned, take melatonin 45mins to an hour before you go to sleep. Throw on a TV show or read a book for like 10 mins and you'll be ready to go to sleep

Also watch the foods you eat and limit the amount of physical activity before bedtime.

Hmm, I'm just the opposite. There's a certain amount of physical activity that gets performed after I go to bed. After I'm done that I'm out light a light.
