not to get in over my head here, but Kennelly explained his workout to me and it sounded just like westside. He just uses his shirt for me work 12 weeks out and rotates variations of that.

Ryan does tend to use a derivation of Westside, difference being we don't use our shirts consecutive weeks as Ryan prefers to when he gets closer to a meet.
I understand what Rhodes is saying. I may have misinterpreted what he was saying about the program as a whole, although I still disagree that there are better programs out there.
It's not simple as bias just because I lift with Louie and have trained at Westside for 7 years, i trained on my own long before I came to Westside.
While I really do believe in looking at what the top 2 or 3 guys are doing, I tend to gravitate towards being interested in what worked for many people because I feel that's a better testament for a program rather than what worked for 1 or 2 guys.
That said, i do realize there are multiple ways of training and everyone is going to have their own preference.

Travis, I'm so glad we had this discussion. It has really caused me to think about training and what my beliefs are as far as building strength. It's made me question some thoughts and really dig into what I do and why I do it.
Great stuff. Looking forward to meeting you in PA in July.
Agreed!
PA this summer will be a good time.
