Whatever you normally do on a max effort deadlift day.

Stats: Age: 33 Weight: 215 Height: 5'6"
Gym PRs: Squat:635 Bench:560 Deadlift:495
Meet PRs: Squat:575 Bench:520 Deadlift:510 Total: 1605@220
It's different for everyone. If 590 is a pr is put your second to last set at 20# under your current pr.
Good luck.
Meet PR's: 1008-711-744 = 2464
Gym PR's... don't count ... time to do another meet!
If you have that number in mind just go for it. After a thorugh drynamic warm up with mobilty work and myofacial work hit a few moderate attempts then go for 590.
I would go:
135 for 5
225 for 3
315 for 3
405 for 1
475 for 1
545 for 1
590 for 1

I like Scott's suggestion. Just get after it. It's not rocket science. Hitting a PR is just nutting up and getting after it. If you make it a big deal, it becomes a big deal. If you just get in there and train you'll probably hit it.
565 went thats all I got. Not too make excuses, but the gay ass bar i started with kept rolling forward on me so i had to unl;oad all the weight after 455 and switch bars. I am going to start doing SLDS, de,rack pullds, and pull off floor 4 week roatation and see what happens. My prevoius best is 665 in Comp, but I have had injuries since 2010 and a few setbacks.
i like bald bull`s succession but i also want to become a builder and have need some tips that how i can achieve my goals.

if your testing yourself make bigger jumps and less reps per set, if you building do smaller jumps and more reps per set
