    bench help

    ok so in january i benched 150 for 1 rep in now got it up to 195.[also been liting for 7 -8 months. and weigh 200.
    Summers coming up and i would like to now what you guys think i can get my bench to by septmber. My goal i set up is about 215- 220.

    You could get a lot of wise ass answers on this, I immediately had one myself. Now, it appears as though you have made great progress. Just keep doing what you are doing and see what happens. Nobody here is going to be able to estimate what you can do with so little information. If you are asking if it's possible to hit 215-220, I'd say yes. Good luck with your training.

    u will easily hit 225 if your training hard and still relatively new to weightlifting.

    anything is possible.... it took me a year to bench 135, but only 6 months after that to bench 225.... we all progress differently.

    But adding 5lbs to your press every month for a new lifter is definitely possible.
